Sylvie Vaillancourt was born and raised in Montreal, Canada where she is currently enjoying her retirement with her partner of thirty-one years. Their seven-year-old rescue cats' antics make for a life filled with delight.

Sylvie had an eclectic tase in music, and enjoys baking bread and experimenting with new recipes. Her hobbies include writing, woodcarving, and watercolor painting.
