The Christmas Card
It's three days before Christmas and Bethany is starting over. A new job, a new town, and a new house is a do-over that is leaving her feeling less than festive. Perhaps she will just skip Christmas this year. She has no one to celebrate with and Christmas alone just doesn’t offer the spirit of the holidays that she remembers from her childhood with beloved family.
Until she sees her elderly neighbor slip a red envelope in her mailbox. Opening it, Bethany discovers a beautiful hand painted Christmas card that takes her back to her childhood. Summers spent at a cabin by the lake. Could it be the same cabin? Intrigued, Bethany has to know who painted the card. The artist has invoked a feeling of nostalgia that she desperately needs in her life right now.
When her neighbor, a modern day Santa look-alike, invites her to spend Christmas with him and his family at the cabin, and who happens to have a handsome son who’s a widower, will fate step in to give Bethany her happy ever after? Or does she need a wish on a Christmas star to find her true destiny?
